Collaborative Divorce Alberta Association
A province-wide association of collaboratively trained professionals. The website has detailed information about what collaborative practice is and how it can work for you.
211 Alberta
This is a free and confidential service that helps Albertans find the right resource or service for the issue they need help with. It is available by phone, text or chat 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Parenting After Separation Course
This course is for parents or guardians of children under 16 years old who are separating or getting a divorce.
Legal Aid Alberta
Provides low cost legal services to low income people in family law, child welfare, domestic violence, immigration, and youth and adult criminal defense.
Calgary Legal Guidance
CLG offers free legal help for low-income people who cannot afford a lawyer or have access to paid services including people experiencing family violence, homelessness, health problems or other issues.
Alberta Courts
This is the official courts website for the Provincial Court, Court of King’s Bench, and Court Appeal. It provides information about all of the services the Courts offer, information about procedures, court forms, judgements, locations and sittings.
Federal Child Support Guidelines
This site provides information about how child support is calculated and how much support may be payable depending on the parties’ income.
Tax Matters Toolkit
This Toolkit was developed by the Canadian Bar Association Family Law Section, Justice Canada and the Canada Revenue Agency to help family law lawyers and their clients understand how tax rules might impact their separation or divorce.
